Announcing the Renaming of the Huang Scholarship to the Shi Wen-Ling Scholarship

We are excited to share a significant update regarding the Huang Scholarship. Starting from the 2025 cohort, the scholarship will be renamed the Shi Wen-Ling Scholarship in memory of Mrs. Shi Wen-Ling (石文姈). This change has been made possible through a generous donation by Mr. Wu (吳志偉) and his family. The generous donation by Mr. Wu and his family will provide substantial support to the scholarship program. The funds will enable at least two scholars each year to pursue graduate-level studies in the United States. This opportunity will allow the brightest minds to gain invaluable experience and bring back advanced knowledge to Taiwan, thereby enhancing our medical community.

Transition to the Shi Wen-Ling Scholarship

The renaming will take effect for the 2025 cohort. The 2024 cohort will still be recognized as the Huang Scholarship due to the use of funds from previous donations. This transition ensures a smooth shift while honoring the commitments made to our current scholars.
